The prayer initiative "Your name in the embrace of the Queen of Peace" has begun

This year too, Mir Information Center Međugorje continues the great prayer initiative on the occasion of Christmas under the name "Your name in the embrace of the Queen of Peace".  This is the third year in a row that the faithful write their names, prayers, intentions, thanksgiving... which will be presented to the Queen of Peace on Apparition Hill on Christmas Day itself.

Fr. Zvonimir Pavičić participated in the Medjugorje seminar in Knock, Ireland

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the Medjugorje seminar was held in Knock.  It is being organized by the Irish Council for Medjugorje, which has existed for 35 years and whose main mission is to spread the messages of the Queen of Peace.

The First National Congress of the Queen of Peace in Chile

The Holy Mass was presided over by the bishop of the Diocese of Rancagua in Chile, Msgr.  Guillermo Vera Soto, at which Fr. Danko Perutina concelebrated, and this is how the two-day spiritual exercises for priests ended and the 1st National Congress of the Queen of Peace in Chile began. It was held in the city of San Francisco de Mostazal in the Diocese of Rancagua, about 60 km south of Santiago.

The 34th Youth Festival will be held in Medjugorje from July 26 to 30, 2023, and the theme of Mladifest, as well as of all international spiritual renewals in Medjugorje next year, is taken from Matthew's Gospel: "Here are my mother and my brothers!" (Mt 12, 49).

''Medjugorje as a contribution to the New Evangelization'' is the theme of the 14th Mariological-Marian National Congress

The congress has an international level, and will be held in Croatian and Italian languages.  In addition to the prayer program, there will be a total of 23 presentations on various topics related to Medjugorje.

On the feast of the Nativity of Our Lady, a church identical to the one in Medjugorje was consecrated in the Philippines

The Great Church of Saint James (Our Lady of Medjugorje) is located in the city of Talisay under the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the Diocese of Bacolod, which is headed by Bishop Mons. Patricio Buzon. And this church, like the original one in Medjugorje, was entrusted to the administration of the Order of Friars Minor through the Custody of St. Anthony of Padua - Philippines, and the church was opened today on the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary - Our Lady.

Change in the timetable of the evening prayer programme in Medjugorje

As of Thursday, September 1, 2022, the schedule of the evening prayer programme is changing. The evening prayer programme begins with the Rosary at 5 p.m., and the Holy Mass at 6 p.m. The prayer of the Rosary on Apparition Hill will be on Sundays at 2 p.m., and the Stations of the Cross on Cross Mountain on Fridays at 2 p.m. the Adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 7 to 8 p.m. Veneration of the Cross will be on Fridays from 7 to 8 p.m.
